The Saturday social ride is where we welcome most newcomers to the club. Usually captained by club secretary Steve Digby, the group leaves from the car park on the Greenway side of the Top Oil Daybreak shop in Garrycastle at 9.30. The length varies but always includes a relaxing coffee stop for cake and a chat. It’s a very gentle way of getting used to group riding (and learning how much easier it is to follow a wheel than be on the front…). You will be looked after and certainly won’t be left out on the road on your own.
